review for NEC Versa LitePad VL-PAD-933 Tablet PCStrengths: size, weight, screen Weakness: battery can't last long enough, also the processor is kind of slow. it will be much much more useful if the battery has bigger capacity and processor can run faster, will look forward to the new version, hopefully the weight is the same or less. NEC Versa LitePad Tablet PC
Strengths: Size, Weight, battery life if properly managed.
Weakness: VERY slow for a 933 Mhz computer. NEC Support. Display is fair. User configurable buttons have very limited choices.
The size and weight of the computer is nice. Beyond that, I don't have much nice to say about it and I would not buy it again. My old 500 Mhz dell laptop blows this thing away for speed. The buttons are user configurable, but the choices are very limited. I won't bore you with the details, but NEC tech support is the worst I have ever dealt with. Amazingly inept.
