Good product for noisy environment

Strengths: The connection speed is very stable comparing with wireless.

Weakness: The maximum speed is only about 10Mbps. It is much slower than 802.11g.

It is suitable for the environment where there is too much interference and your wireless often disconnect. There are too many wireless stations near my home and it causes that my wireless internet often disconnects. This is the best product to solve my problem

Netgear XA601 Powerline USB Adapter

Strengths: Compact and easy to connect wiring. Also easy to install software.

Weakness: When setting up on a computer that has high-speed internet access (in order to provide high speed internet access to another xa601), it was necessary for me to assign a 2nd network.

Once installed, I like the simplicity of the system. I have two XA601's, one installed on a computer which has high-speed internet access and the other for my laptop use in other areas of the house. It has been relatively simple to use and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't yet trust wireless.

However, recently I have had nothing but headaches with this adapter. Seems that the fast network connections I've been having before are now of the past. Now, if I'm lucky, I can connect to my router downstairs, about 150 feet away. But once I am connected,...
