Apple MacBook Pro

Strengths: Great screen and speaker quality. A stable OS and a well balanced machine.

Weakness: Battery Life is longer than PC laptops but somewhat shorter than previous apple laptops due to the larger screen

A well balanced laptop. I love the the lighted keyboard and the magsafe adapter is great. The keyboard action is closer to a traditional keyboard. In addition, the upgraded speakers sound better than most laptop speakers.

Macbook Pro 15.4" 2.0GHz

Strengths: Fast

Weakness: None

This is the best Computer I ever had. It is fast, reliable, works excellent with the programs I have, like Adobe CS2, Aperture, Quicken,..etc. I recomend this Mac to everybody, even if don't have any experience with Mac, you'll love it. Great Job.

MAc Book Pro is the best

Strengths: I bought this computer and i love it. what more can u ask for it runs Mac OS with no viruses and you can run the more popular and less advanced Windows which i am using right now on it.

Weakness: heat

i have never had a problem with apple and will always recomend them to anyone and if you do have a problem with this machine apple will do everything they can to get it back up and running and if they can't fix it they will ship you a new one. it is one of the fastest apples i have used and i love how you can dual boot into windows XP or Mac OS 10.4 it is deff a best buy for anyone that wants the...

the best laptop ever!

Strengths: beautiful display, built-in webcam, fast processor, reliable os, solid laptop

Weakness: only 512mb ram, runs really hot

i absolutely love my new macbook pro laptop. i've been a mac user my entire life so i might be a little biased, but i do work with pc's and mac's and i do like the interface of mac os x much better then that of any windows os. i have yet to try the macbook pro's bootcamp feature which runs the laptop with windows or linux os's, but have heard good things about it and there are applications that...

Best Computer Hands Down

Strengths: Speed, ability to run numerous programs at once with little or no speed degradation. No virus or adware problems. No constant security upgrades. Crashes are seldom. Airport is a breeze!

Weakness: None

I bought an iBook G4 a year ago and was so happy I bought the new MacBook Pro with 1GB of ram after 6 months. My son now has the iBook G4. I was a PC user for the past 11 years, but those days are joyfully behind me. I can honestly say that Mac has the best OS on the market. No computer is perfect, and I have had a few issues with programs unexpectedly quiting on me, but that has been seldom and...

MacBook Pro is all you could ever ask for.

Strengths: Multimedia, streamlined, nice value. Sound quality and picture quality are the best I've ever seen.

Weakness: None. It's good all around. Some slowdown, but not much of a problem.

For anyone who wants to produce any kind of media, whether it is movies, music, or even animations, this is the best laptop on the market. iLife is equipped so you get all of your media needs filled right off the bat. CD/DVD burner is quick and I have had no problems. Just listen to iTunes and you'll hear great sound quality. The speakers on this computer are exceptional. It has been no problem...

This THING is HOT!!! (And I mean it in the good,...

Strengths: ABSOLUTE ease, sleek-ness, speed, efficient Mac OS X, ***never a four hour start-up (due to anti-virus software and endless spyware searches),*** gorgeous design, OVERALL a PRO ... overall!!!

Weakness: None!

Can't beat this thing EVER with/in ALL of it's strengths! Truly AMAZING! I also love ... the dock, the widgets, the keyboard, the lighted keys, the speed, the hardware, the software, and yes, the overall cosmetic appeal! AND FYI ... this whole "runs hot" thing totally escapes me! You should've felt my Dell Inspiron 700m for some major PC HEAT'n!!! ALSO, I bought a clear Speck hard-shell case with...

My First Mac

Strengths: Speed and ease of use. User-friendly redefined. Since I am a first time mac user I though I will have a hard time working around the platform. Although I had a boot camp, I barely used it.

Weakness: Slow DVD RW, battery life is shorter than expected.

I am a head audio engineer to my group and being in it we have been plagued by mix platforms. I wanted to understand behaviors what my engineers usually complain about Windows, so I got myself a Mac. Thinking its now intel-based and has a boot camp as a run to if in case things don't work out. After awhile, I found myself enjoying Mac and little by little not wanting to boot to windows anymore.

Great laptop

Strengths: Bluetooth, built-in camera, overall design of the product

Weakness: Battery life

I admit I was somewhat reluctant to purchase a Mac because of my unfamiliarity with the OS. I've used it before but only sparingly. For those who are in the same situation, go buy it! The Mac OS is more intuitive than Windows and many of the Windows features that make you go "huh" do not exist here. But I am here to review the product so let me digress. Like I said earlier, the overall design of...

What happened to Apple Computers??????

Strengths: Don't have one - my MacBook PRO never worked out of the box!

Weakness: Runs Hot! Computer had problems out of the box, it never ran right! Support at Apple is VERY BAD! Had to spend another $300 for support!

I have owned a Mac all my life but not anymore. The MacBook PRO is NOT worth the money! Apple support is no good! If you have a problem expect to pay for it. I sent my MacBook PRO back to Apple after weeks of talking to them on the phone, re-installing the OS system and software several times. I sent my Mac back to Apple and they have had my computer for 3 weeks. Don't buy an Apple - get a Dell.

MacBook Pro Core Duo/2.0 GHz

The 2GHz MacBook Pro is a fitting successor to the PowerBook G4. While its new internal architecture makes it noticeably faster than its predecessor—and blazingly faster in certain high-end tasks—it’s still comfortably a Mac laptop.
