Nice product

Strengths: Compact size, large buttons, clear sound, and nice design.

Weakness: None as of yet.

The GN-4170 Headset Telephone is exactly what I needed for my home business. It allows me to type and talk at the same time. Great design is very functional and allows for connection to fax on same line. No "weaknesses" as of yet. Excellent value, compared to other devices on the market. You will not be disappointed.

Works very well

Strengths: Clear, you can use headset or ear piece, mute. Volume and tone controls.

Weakness: Could be a little softer on your ear.

This is an overall solid product. It is comfortable, and the features are great. I like the clarity, you can use the ear piece or convert to the headset. Volume and tone controls are also nice to have available.

Simple phone, simple headset

Strengths: Sounds seems clear, low price

Weakness: None I can think of.

I've hooked this up to my Vonage line and it is easy to make calls with it. Press one button, dial, voila. So there's no caller ID, but that can be added separately. Don't think there's much use for the audio cable (only mono anyhow) that let's you plug in an audio player or computer, but I applaud Jabra (GN has changed its name) for the though. The headset is easy to wear and sound is good. And...

GN 4170 Headset Telephone

Strengths: Low price. Clear sound. Convenience of listening to the music while waiting for the phone call. Headset is comfortable.

Weakness: The headset could be a little louder.

I have a small computer support business. I bought this phone so that it'll be more professional sounding without customers hearing my handset noise everytime I move as with a traditional handset or cordless phone. In every aspect I'm very happy with this GN headset and this is the my first time I have ever used their product. The good point of the phones are numerous: low cost, clear sound...

GN 4170 Headset Telephone System

Strengths: Incredibly compact, easy to use, excellent value, flashes when muted, easy to reach mute, redial, and flash buttons, convenient dialpad, includes holder clip to store the headset when not in use

Weakness: Somewhat tricky to figure out how to position the headset on the holder when not in use, the screen that flashes when you are on mute could have a brighter light.

This headset telephone system is all you need work from home in a call-center like environment! The quality is very high, especially considering the reasonable price (I got mine for only $19.99 plus shipping at www.tigerdirect.com) This is an incredibly compact, convenient system that is very easy to use - just plug in and you're all hooked up... no software or lengthy instructions needed. The...

Jabra 4170 Analog Telephone Headset

Strengths: Compact size, very light weight, comfortable headset.

Weakness: Constant buzzing noise, I work from home and I am on the phone for 8 hours a day, my customers were complaining of a buzzing noise when I was talking to them.

My customers were complaining of a buzzing noise while I was talking to them, unfortunatly I had to return this particular product and try to find another product, I am not sure if the one I received was defective or if the buzzing noise is part of the product.

I love this phone!

Strengths: This phone is awesome! It's small, compact and perfect for my work-at-home job. It has an on-off button, as well as a mute button which are a must have for my job. The headset is comfy too!

Weakness: None so far!

I love that the headset has 2 different wearing options. I prefer the over the head one. I love the phone base unit; the buttons are big and easy to read. This phone is awesome all the way around!
