Canon EOS Rebel 2000 35mm SLR Autofocus Camera Kit...Strengths: Easy to use controls.Easy film load.Changeable lens. Weakness: Flash is only good for close up. The camera takes quality pitcures. The abilty to go from manual to full auto is great. I was taking a photo of my grandson running and I used the action feature and really work fast. I used the manual for still and it worked great. Canon EOS Rebel 2000 35mm SLR Autofocus Camera Kit...Strengths: Easy to use displays. All our pictures are in focus. If you like to take manual instead of auto pics this camera is also fun to use. Weakness: The 28-80mm lens doesn't have the distance we would like. We decided on the camera after doing a lot of research. My wife wanted a manual and I automatic. This camera met both our needs. It took a little time to get used to the displays but now we don't miss a picture because we are messing with the settings. Strengths: The TV and AV features are outstanding, I use the majority of manual displays.
Weakness: I find the flash that comes with the unit much to harsh and prefer a flash used on the horseshoe.
The photo quality if very good with my camera. I prefer the manual pictures versus the automatic. I take more black and white then color but I love the look of them. The TV and AV feature stops the motion perfectly and the automatic depth of field is great. I use a Canon zoom lens that is 80mm to 210mm and I have just bought a tripod for long exposure shots. I would highly recommend this camera....
