Toshiba PDR-M25 2.2 Megapixel Compact Camera

Strengths: price,compactness,and ease of use.

Weakness: flash, and the delay incurred when tripping the shutter button.

What a wonderful little camera! It's small enough that I carry it almost everywhere. This is my first digital camera, and as I read the reviews I came to the realization that there is no perfect camera. I paid $178 at Wal-mart knowing that if I wasn't happy with it I could return it. The problems others have mentioned, like the lens cap falling off, must have been corrected, besides, there is a...

Toshiba PDR-M25 2.2 Megapixel Compact Camera

Strengths: price

Weakness: indoor pictures,lcd screen

Takes good pictures outdoors and in no light. If light is limited picture is dark. Battery life could be longer. It is hard to tell if you got a good shot from looking at lcd screen.

Toshiba PDR-M25 2.2 Megapixel Compact Camera

Strengths: Pretty easy to learn how to use this camera right out of the box. I'm no photographer, yet am able to take great quality pictures and then crop and touch up on my computer.

Weakness: Eats alkaline batteries. 15 pics and they're done. Use the rechargable nik. 60 pics at least be fore I start worrying about it. Use the zoom it goes quicker.

I bought this camera for the price. A salesperson at Walmart took me through 16 cameras, then told me she took a bunch of pictures around the store using the Toshiba because she liked it best. I can see why. Still getting used to it but am not sorry I bought it. Got the 128MB card. 131 Pics high res, 436 at low resolution. I really can't tell much of a difference in the quality. Like the 10...

Toshiba PDR-M25 2.2 Megapixel Compact Camera

Strengths: Excellent Quality Pictures

Weakness: Delay and blurs

I did lots of homework before buying this GREAT camera. Takes lots of great pics. Be warned though it's delay is significant. My pictures come out very clear though. The fuss about it's quality indoor is justified but with proper lighting, acceptable. Overall for these days, your just not going to get these features anywhere else for $250 or less. You get T.V. out, Optical zoom, and 2.2MP, that's...

Toshiba PDR-M25 2.2 Megapixel Compact Camera

Strengths: Usually takes great pictures in auto mode providing there is enough light. Small, compact and easy to use. Pictures look better than the Casio qv2000ux that died on me.

Weakness: Only problem with this camera is in low light pictures are hard to take. Even using manual mode adjusting the EV and WB. Hoping a firmware upgrade will take care of this.

PDR-M25 is a great priced camera and takes excellant pictures as long as there is enough light. When taking pictures during Xmas, out of 106 pictures, only 3 were really not worth keeping.

Toshiba PDR-M25 2.2 Megapixel Compact Camera

Strengths: easy to use, pretty small

Weakness: poor focus in low light, weak flash, died completely after 2.5 years

I have owned the PDR M25 for about 2 1/2 years, and taken many picutres with it. Although it is easy to use, and produces good shots under most conditions, there are several reasons why I won't buy a Toshiba digital camera again. The camera's controls are sluggish--from start-up, to zoom, to actually capturing the shot. I missed many great opportunities simply because my camera was still grinding...

Toshiba PDR-M25 2.2 Megapixel Compact Camera

Strengths: Price

Weakness: Low memory. Battery life

Due to its high resolution, you will run out of memory in no time, specially if you don't have a computer to download your images! I had to buy a 64MB card an a set of rechargeable batteries (1800mAH) for a trip to Paris. During three weeks, I took 500 pictures (low resolution, medium quality). Optical zoom is great! Digital zoom is full of artifacts. Battery life is much less than expected, so...

toshiba digital camera

Strengths: price

Weakness: used up so much batteries, unreliable, never know how many pictures to take before batteries expires, eventhough battery ok in other uses (1 to 2 shots), battery connection deffective?

Very dissapointed with this camera, unrealible. We end up missing a lot of picture moments, because of the battey power problem. We got tired of lugging extra batteries. What is the point of the camera being "light and small" if you end up taking so much spare batteries. In other cases, can't possibly recharging batteries all the time to save money. It's not practical when you are out traveling.
