A small gadget, lots of features

Strengths: Price is very reasonable compared to features it offers, Video playback, small size, screen quality is superb, Extremely easy and user friendly user interface, Battery Life.

Weakness: No WMA format support (Expected from MS biggest competitor). No Bluetooth or voice recorder, which other competing brands are now offering on their MP3 Players. Must downloads songs through iTunes.

I had this Ipod for 3 days now. It is my first Ipod but I had many MP3 players before. What attracts me the most about this Ipod is the size. Extremely small and thin comapred to previous generations. I also like the metal finish, which feels and looks fancy and sturdy. Video Playback is also a new feature, and it's a big plus. The screen quality is extremely good. You must see it to believe it,...

iPod Nano Third Generation

Strengths: Video quality, small size, pricing, battery life

Weakness: Small screen for video, earbuds, glossy back

Overall, this is a very good product from Apple. With the addition of video, Apple has made the Nano much better. The video quality is fantastic, although the screen is a little small for watching video on. It is still very small, although a little wider than the last generation, but still fits anywhere. The ear buds are really bad, but you can buy different ones. The pricing is solid at $150....

Best Flash Memory Compact Audio/Video Player Ipod...

Strengths: Great Video quality and design.

Weakness: No FM radio or voice recorder, sometimes scroll whell is difficult to control.

This is my first ipod. I have a Palm TX with Wi-Fi where you can almost do the same or more: mp3, video, surf internet, etc. This Ipod Nano generation (3rd) is almost full of features so i have decided to give it a try. Under Mac OS X, I tried to drag and drop photos and videos from iPhoto to iTunes without success, it took me a while to realize that the only way is to synchronize from iTunes to...

3rd Generation Ipod Nano

Strengths: Price, screen size, battery life.

Weakness: The hold switch is a two-handed affair, MP3's take a while to edit play lists, ear buds get uncomfortable.

After buying my kids iPods for years it was time for me to get one! The previous Nano screen was a tad too small for me and the new screen size is very crisp and easy to read. My kids are jealous of the new features I have that the previous generation Nano doesn't. The games are fun and addictive (iQuiz, Klondike, and Vortex). The battery has a long life and it is great that this Nano was priced...

Ipod Nano 3rd Generation 4 gb mp3 player

Strengths: Actual size of the Nano, the number of songs it can hold, and of course the games.

Weakness: The lock button and the headphone jack are on the bottom instead of the top like other ipods.

I also have an ipod classic, but like the size of the 3rd generation nano. I feel that this is an upgrade from the classic in turns of the easy of use of the wheel, the size of the screen, and the thickness. I can not say that I notice a difference between the sound quality of these machines. It is without question better than a classic CD player. I like that games can be downloaded and of course...

3rd Generation Ipod Nano

Strengths: super thin, plays videos, good battery life

Weakness: included headphones are garbage

This is the first ipod that I purchased and I love it. The size is probably the best part of it. I got the 4gb version which gets the job done with roughly 1000 songs. I also like that it can play videos and it includes some addictive games. I did have some problems getting my music from WMP to itunes but in the end its definitely worth it. One thing that I don't like is that the hold switch is...

Very good - would definitely recommend

Strengths: Reasonable price, excellent visual playback, sound audio quality, super-thin body

Weakness: Wider and bulkier than 1st and 2nd generation Nano, mediocre headphones

This is the third iPod I have owned and Apple keeps meeting up to expectations every time. The video playback on the 3rd generation Nano is simply incredible for such a small, razor-thin mp3 player. The price range is definitely reasonable at $149 for a 4GB model, especially since the audio playback quality is excellent. I'm not too fond about the wider body though. I am used to an...

Excellent new addition to the ipod family

Strengths: Small and rugged

Weakness: none so far ( except arm bands are pricey and one was not included ).

Present for the wife. Daughters have Gen2 and that is very nice. This version is even better because it is shorter and more compact. I was disappointed that no armband was included. The Apple brand armband was selling for $30. I found one for much less but I doubt it compares to the Apple original armband. Still mu wife and I think this is a great product. Too bad the price is so high.

ipod nano 3rd Generation 4gb silver

Strengths: nice quality attractive mp3 player, larger bright screen than previous nano, good battery life

Weakness: it requires itunes download for the music and even for pictures

This is the first mp3 player that I have purchased. When I saw these new ones, I thought it would be a good time to jump in the apple ipod bandwagon. I was initially frustrated when I first received it because I could not get music on it. I thought I could use windows media which i am accustomed to, but I had to download the apple itunes first before my computer would even recognize it. Even when...

IPOD NANO 3G Silver 4GB

Strengths: thin profile and compact, nice looking electronic

Weakness: surface scratches easily, click wheel is not easy to use at first.

I bought this IPOD for my nine year daughter and she loves it. It is a beautiful and a fun product by Apple. I also had it engraved in case she loses it (free from Apple). You need to buy a case to protect the screen and surface. We loaded songs, video, and photos. The video quality is great. Since the screen is small, you cannot watch movies for a long time but this is good for car trips....
