Excellent DriveStrengths: Fast, reliable, quality, inexpensive Weakness: A little noisy (the fan) It's not advertised, but the two drives on the inside are 500GB Western Digitals . You can't beat the price or quality of this product. Don't pass up

Ok, as long as you don't want to use JBOD mode...Strengths: Dual bay enclosure allowing 2 drives to be seen as 1 big one or 2 separate drives, price Weakness: noisy, have to pull off warranty seal sticker to change between SPAN and JBOD I purchased this array because the price was right and it provides a platform that I hope to be able to replace the 2 500GB drives with 1TB drives when I outgrow the smaller drives. The drive did not come with the software disc that the Cavalry site said was included (though I don't know what software would have been included except for maybe Win98 drivers or some such). So far the only bad thing that happened with it is that UPS missed it at their processing station. Good Storage deviceStrengths: Easy to use and hassle free setup Weakness: Not really a weakness but it is little big. It was my first time to use any product from Cavalry. The setup was very simple and easy and I was immediately able to start using it as my data storage. It has double disks and can be used as single huge disk or double small disks. No issue so far. Will recommend it.

Cheap and good!Strengths: Size of drive (1TB), seems to have quick access time as well, works out of the box as it is pre-formatted and does not need to be set-up in any way shape or form, price (huge strength!) Weakness: Decently noisy when the fan is on, very bright LED on front I'm very happy with this drive. I was initially unsure of what kind of quality to expect, as I have never bought a Cavalry drive before, but it seems like my worries were unfounded. Drive seems to work perfectly well. It does not get too hot, and the fan obviously helps with that. The fan is noisy, as some other reviews had stated, so if you have a really quiet PC, this will make it sound... Advertisement
