Boston Ranger 55 pencil sharpener
Strengths: It will turn and work a short period of time. Boston's other sharpeners will not even turn 3 out of 6 times.
Weakness: It is made in China with poor quailty parts that will not last. It is not the same as the American product or orignal design. It will only function a short time in daily classroom use.(about 6 weeks.)
Several functions have been removed in the made in China version. The handles will not stay on due to a metal cutting screw set into a cast splite with out cut threads instead of steel Shaft a real cut threaded hole. Boston has be bought out by X-Acto and all manufacturing operation appear to have been moved to China. Their pencil sharpeners do not work and they do not care. Do not buy this...
