Yay!

Strengths: Really great. Increased my processing speed like crazy

Weakness: Haven't really found any as of yet.

I would purchase again since it has a great price and very dependable brand for this 1gb pc2-5300 ddr2 sodimm memory. this was the first time i have ever bought memory for my laptop and i was very glad that i did so. i no longer had lag time on my computer when i had ten million gazillion things open.

Good performance boost with 1GB memory.

Strengths: Corsair brand always dependable, single module with 1GB capacity, less power consumption and heat at 1.8V, life time warranty.

Weakness: None.

I bought this 1GB module to add more memory to my laptop. I got a nice boost after installing it, many applications run much faster now especially when viewing digital photos. I've used many Corsair product so far and never had any problems. Life time warranty a plus.

Works well in Apple MacBook Core Duo 2.0GHz

Strengths: Well-respected brand, decent price, works without errors in MacBook

Weakness: Corsair has not yet officially tested this ram for compatibility in Intel-based Macs as of June 2006.

After putting this RAM through its paces for two weeks in my MacBook Core Duo 2.0GHz, I have had no stability problems whatsoever in either MacOS or Windows via Boot Camp. I've run through several runs of Rember/Memtest in OSX, which reported no errors. Five stars in my experience, but I'm docking one star until Corsair officially guarantees compatibility of this RAM with Intel-based Macs.

Good and reliable

Strengths: Low costs compared to other PC5300 memory. Reliable brand name.

Weakness: None.

Not like cheap never heard before brand names, Corsair memories are a reliable brand. The cost is low between the new PC5300 specs, so I'd say it is a value memory. I am using this for my new Thinkpad T60 which had a default 1GB PC5300 memory in it. I am using it as 2GB configuration now, everything runs flawless, and I am getting performance gain on my memory hunger simulation works. Just having...

Works like it should...

Strengths: It just works. No crashes, no problems.

Weakness: None.

I only buy Corsair these days. I bought this to upgrade my Apple iMac Intel Core Duo. It works flawlessly. Corsair continues to build top quality memory at the best available price. Kudos!

Value Ram

Strengths: Low price reliable

Weakness: None

Bought to upgrade memory to 2G. Really annoying that memory standards are changing so fast. Could not use DDR2-533 memory from my previous laptop. Ram memtest and it could not find any errors. Given that there are not many DDR2-667 sodimms out yet, it's cheap and give solid performance.

Good memory...

Strengths: Price, ease of installation

Weakness: None that I know of...

Solid memory, decent performance in my Sony notebooks. No fancy claims of super performance, just solid memory at a good price. I've seen posts of problems in Apple notebooks but Apple has been using proprietary chipsets for 20 years. I don't expect them to change just because they're using Intel processors. I would highly recommend Corsair memory, at this point, in "PC's".

it was ok...

Strengths: my laptop ran faster

Weakness: none that i can see yet

overall, a pretty decent product. took a little bit of finessing (spelling?) to get the memory into the slot on my macbook, but finally got it in. whew! i was glad that i bought it since it was at a pretty decent price. and its a reliable brand. would get it again if i had to.

Corsair 1GB PC2-5300 DDR2 200 Pin SODIMM Memory

Strengths: Works flawlessly. Fully compatible with my iMac Duo

Weakness: None

I purchased two of these chips to upgrade my new (actually a refurbished, by Apple) 2.0 GHz iMac Duo. After the initial system startup, I removed the 512MB chip the iMac shipped with and replaced it with the two Corsair chips. The iMac booted without a hitch and instantly recognized the 2GB of memory now resident. Can't beat this for the price.

MY E1405

Strengths: Works fine, no compatibility issues, works great w/ a with my original pc-4200 that runs at 533mhz, until I get another 1gb. the backward compatibility issue is supported by the motherboard.

Weakness: none found

overall, the memory is good for its price compared to paying an arm and a leg, kingston want you to pay. the laptop picked up the memory right away. no problems whatsoever.
