Our printer arrived with broken pieces and constantly had paper jams. I called iUnitek and I was routed to my rep who told me to take a picture of the broken piece and email it. I emailed the pictures and heard nothing. I emailed again for an update and was told that they didn't receive my email with the pictures, probably due to the size of the attachment. I emailed each picture separately as well as followed up with 2 additional emails and still have heard nothing. Now that it has been over a month, we cannot return the printer. I paid a local repairman $75 to figure out why the printer was jamming. He determined that the small piece that had broken was part of the delivery assembly, a $150 part. I can't seem to get anyone to respond to me in any way. I would never recommend this company to anyone! Overall Rating

I ordered a computer on 9/12/08 and put a rush on it because my computer at work had locked up and i needed a new one asap. When i hadn't received the computer by 9/22/08 i canceled the order and bought a computer somewhere else. I got an email on 9/23/08 saying my order shipped after I canceled it so i refused the order. Today is 10/30/08 and I still have not received my credit for $504.56. I have left 3 voice mail messages and sent 4-5 emails and no one is responding to any of them. Very poor way of doing business. I will never order anything from iunitek again, and would greatly appreciate my credit. Overall Rating

Overall experience good, however, the bait and switch thing for "Free Shipping" on a 24lb computer is bad, when you add memory which weighs next to nothing and have to pay $12.56 for the cheapest shipping. Pure male cow poop. Overall Rating

(Edited November 07th by ControlAC)  **BE AWARE** This vendor is ridiculous, I found a product and the status showed "in stock" on their website, I placed order on 10/8 and found out it didn't get shipped out till the following week, I called to check status and was being told a different ETA. Waited 1 more week and it still didn't get shipped out. I called again and I was told yet a different ETA. Then the same story repeated one more time and I decided to cancel the order on 10/28. Please note, the status of this product on their website ALWAYS shows "in stock" during these 3 weeks when I waited desperately for it. Totally a dishonest vendor, wasted my time, also lack of communication with customers (17 minutes wait time to find out the status after I gave the order number??) -- I will not buy from this vendor ever again. I do a lot of research before I do business online somewhere new. When it came to my new PC case, I picked iUnitek.com. My first time experience with iUnitek overall: 4.5 of 5. Maybe because I scoured their website and others' reviews of the business, or because I like that I live mere miles from their main offices and they have walk-in shops around my area, but I received prompt service, though I will add tracking that good service was a bit shoddy. I ordered a massive solid brushed aluminum PC case with two clear acrylic hinged side panels on a Saturday night(10/04), expecting to receive the package between 10/8-13. Total charge was the cheapest I found by $30 minimum(vs Fry's, Newegg, etc.). It arrived 10/8(3 business days); the correct case in pristine condition. My only negatives, navigating the site is slow, product search is user-unfriendly, order tracking is nil, and you can offer 1-day regular shipping in Southern California, the transaction cleared the day you shipped. They sent me a used fax machine when I paid for a new one. It still had a paper jam and several preprogrammed #s'. I had to clear the shreds of paper out of it before it would work. No response from customer service. Buyer Beware! Overall Rating

Order a computer for this company by credit card. Recieved email asking for verification of credit card and a request for bank wire. Info sent about credit card (which was given when computer was order). Called multiple times -- finally told could not seen computer by credit cards--only by bank wire. Is this a real business or a scam?
Retailer Response (09/11/2008): Due to the increase of fraudulent orders on this type of product despite verified information we have labeled this a s a high risk product and therefore only accept wire payments for purchase.

Purchased a Xerox Phaser 4500n Maintenance kit (part# 108R00600) for $138.40 plus I added the $5.99 rushed processing and $9.50 shipping on the 10th and it shipped out the 11th. I received it today and the box was a little beat up like other reviewers have stated but everything was untouched and in working order which took me about 10 minutes to install and now my printer is back up and running since replacing the fuser. Since purchasing their price has went up to $255.41 so I have no complaints for what I paid for since it was $100 less than everywhere else. I was a bit uneasy after reading reviews on here, reseller ratings and BBB but my order definitely met and exceeded my expectations. I did email them on the 11th requesting status of my order since rush processing was typically same day shipping and never received a response so if you wish to communicate with iUnitek, I wouldn't get your hopes up. The product took about 2 weeks to get to me, just because they took a while to ship it. However, as soon as it was shipped, I got it 2 days later. Besides that the experience with iUnitek has been very positive. The product came well packaged, and without any problems. I would buy from iUnitek again. I highly recommend them... although if you need something delivered in a hurry, I would probably get their 2-day shipping option or something like that. Overall Rating
