Verbatim DVD+RStrengths: reliable, limited lifetime guarantee, no coasters. Weakness: none This is my preferred DVD brand. After trying Imation, Maxell, GQ, Sony, Ridata, OfficeMax, Office Depot, Nexxtech, memorex, and others, I will stick with Verbatim. simply put, it saves time, expense, and difficulty with trouble free, reliable burns. Excellent Buy!Strengths: 16X, Reliability Weakness: None Verbatim is my brand of choice for DVDs and CD-Rs. Nothing but praise for this brand. Most of my disc were readable in dvd-players in my house. I have burnt hundreds of verbatim DVDs and only a few came out unreadable. good first impressionStrengths: twenty burns and all good Weakness: none, so far I have just started using a dvd burner and I knew the media is just as important as the drive. I chose this brand based on reputation. I read the reviews and had the opportunity to get a good deal. I have a Sony 810A and so far there has not been any problems. Great DiscsStrengths: Have not had a bad disc yet. Have burned over 100 discs. Weakness: None These discs work great in my NEC drives for both data and video. Great productStrengths: Brand name, great DVD discs Weakness: none I bought these DVD discs when they were on sale. And Verbatim means quality! I love these discs. excellent media for a good price.......Strengths: (see below) Weakness: n/a Great value and best buy compare to other brands. Movies recorded are clear and look sharp like original. So far, no wastage of media when recording movies/ music. I would recommend Verbatim anytime to friends and family especially when they are on sale (paid about $20 for 100 pieces after mail-in-rebate and they're pretty good with honoring and processing the rebate). excellent mediaStrengths: fast reliable Weakness: none I had no problem burning DVDs at 16x. No coasters. No complaints. Would buy this again. I didn't check the error rate with a dvd test tool, but they made good copies of a Linux distro, anyway. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

verbatim dvd +R 100 packStrengths: high quality, 0 defect so far. Weakness: none I had a nec nd-2500a dvd burner. This is my first time I use Verbatim disk. I burned 10 disk and had 0 defect so far. Verbatim 16x DVD+RStrengths: Dependable. Works with all DVD burners. Low rate of coasters. Weakness: None Verbatim is a trusted brand name. I have used hundreds of them (half DVD+R, half DVD-R), and have had few coasters (some may be due to user technical difficulties). To summarize,they are dependable, high quality, can be consistently be written at 16x by every DVD burner I have (NEC, BenQ, LG) and cheap (when bought with rebate). Verbatim 100pk dvd+rStrengths: Great price with or without rebates. Haven't had a coaster yet. The dvds in this spindle are all in great shape unlike other spindles I have purchased where the dvd media has defects that are visible. Weakness: None that I know of. I have yet to have a coaster with Verbatim DVD-R, CD-R, and DVD+R. The speed is 16x, which is the fastest speed at which you can safely burn dvds. Only once have I had a dvd that was minorly scratched along the edges but that can be overlooked to that fact that these dvds have never failed me. The price is very competitve and with rebates online, it is such a bargain to purchase these. I got them for under $20 when all of my rebates will be returned. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Verbatim 16x DVD disksStrengths: Price and Quality Weakness: None This is the second spindle of Verbaitum 16X DVD's I've purchased and have only had ~2 disks that failed to verify. I have yet to find any disks that are 100% error free so I'm more than happy with these. The price is right and the quality is as good as it gets. I'm using a Lite-On SOHW-1693S and a Lite-On LDW-851S DVD burner. I'd give this product a 5 even though I had a few failures. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Excellent media for making backups and storing important information. Manufacturer code is MCC004, which is considered first quality (or best available quality). If you find them on sale (or need to make reliable burns) then don't hesitate to buy.
I've bought other cheaper (unknown) brands and quality has been third or fourth (the worst). Don't waste your money and buy Verbatims.
Verbatim changed to other manufacturer for a short while, but went back to first quality. No regrets in buying from them today.
