We love it

Strengths: Perfect protection with the manufacturer behind it to the tune of $1000!

Weakness: Not a mobile backup product

Andy Beer and I are short film makers with oodles of data. We were trying bring copies of all our post production work to his mom's house but never felt we had a good backup strategy. Now with the ioSafe Solo we can focus on making films and not worrying about driving data around.

I know my business info is safe

Strengths: durable, waterproof, fireproof

Weakness: heavy

As a small business owner working solely on my computer, if I lose data, my business is gone. I'm a cautious person, so when I found this hard drive that's waterproof and fireproof, I was sold. I fortunately haven't had to test it, but I know people who have, and they have easily recovered their data. I also like their guarantee about recovering your data. It makes me feel safe.

ioSafe is Awesome

Strengths: Easy to setup and use, provides piece of mind if a disaster should strike.

Weakness: None

The ioSafe product is very cost effective in protecting valuable electronic data such as pictures and financial data. It worked flawlessly right out of the box and has performed seamlessly for many months. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants disaster protection for their electronic data.

Strengths: Affordable, easy to use, compact

Weakness: None

I used to live in Texas and one year our house got flooded about 2 ft deep, just enough to ruin everything in our house that was sitting on the floor including our home PC. I lost everything on that machine. When I saw IO Safe I thought never again will I go through that nightmare. Thank you IO Safe for giving me peace of mind 24/7

Easy setup with my laptop

Strengths: Easy to set up, solid construction and protection from fires and water damage

Weakness: utilitarian looks, download backup software

My IT guy recommended that I get this for my business. The business next door had a small fire and so I was a little freaked out for our own business. I still backup to a portable disk but don't always remember to take it home with me. Or worse, if I'm at lunch with the fire breaks out and my laptop and little backup drive all go up in flames!

Great product for Mac Time Machine

Strengths: Excellent construction and design. Looks great sitting next to my 15 MBP. Works flawlessly!

Weakness: None

I've had this product for a few months now and enjoy the peace of mind of having my data safe and secure. I use this as my Time Machine drive and must say it looks great on my desk. Very clean style and a very useful product. I am thinking of buying another one for media storage at home.

Strengths: simple to use. installed in 30 seconds. can bolt to the floor plus its fire and water proof obviously. great price!

Weakness: doesn't come with backup software so i had to find this myself.

i own my own law firm so we're always scanning legal documents. i was hunting for a good solution for all the data we are creating and ran across the ioSafe. it's great!!! awesome product at a great price!
