Strengths: Convenient, fast, looks good.

Weakness: nothing major

I am so glad I found this device. When I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I have been looking for something like this for quite some time, as I have quite a few large SATA hard drives laying around that I use for storage.
This device is fast and convenient. Just remember to plug in the power and SATA cables, then insert the drive, then turn it on. Likewise, eject the drive via "safely remove hardware", turn off the dock, then pop the drive out.
A bit of force is needed to insert the drive into the dock, which is a bit more than I'm comfortable with, but I suppose it makes for a secure connection. Also, I can feel that the drives still heat up alot, so some kind of fan would be nice for long uses. I don't use mine for that long, so I'm not too worried. Another thing is when you put the drive in and turn the device on, the PC hangs for 2-3 seconds. I thought it was my device, but I think it's just eSATA, as it happens to my brother's PC when he uses an eSATA enclosure also.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this device. Get one, you won't regret it. It was exactly what I needed and was looking for.
