Excellent drive - great overall improvement for the...
Strengths: Very fast, totally quiet, energy efficient
Weakness: price - otherwise I would give this drive 5*
Great boot drive - overall Writes are about the same as with a fast conventional hdd (a bit slower for short files, quite a bit faster for larger files). Reads are F A S T - windoze xp boots in about 20s. The entire system appears quite a bit "snappier". This drive is appearently 2nd or 3rd generation and does not seem to exhibit the quirks of previous versions (stutters etc.). Too bad they are so expensive, but hopefully prices will decline
