Network Associates McAfee VirusScan V7/SpamKiller V4...Strengths: none Weakness: the whole product Unless you are a computer whiz you can forget trying this product. First, the only easy thing about this product is ordering it. Once you get it if you try to get customer service to ask questions forget it. If you get a voice over the phone the person you talk with, more than likely wont know about how to handle your problems. They will tell you to go online where your questions will be answered. Wrong. Then when you try and to get customer service online, it will take you from one extreme to another and it takes you from one string to another and after several hours you give up wanting to call the customer service agent again, if you can reach them. When i downloaded the software it would never take on my computer. I have windows me. It wouldnt take with the error message stating something like the pop3 server i was trying to put in wasnt available or couldnt be configured. I tried to get someone to answer this over the internet and I called several times and the solution was never solved. I just trashed the program and made a promise if i saw anyone advertising this software that i would make sure they wouldnt make the same mistake i made. Your article about the customer service was correct. It is sorry. And so is the program. You who write the article is very knowledgeable on programs and other things about a computer but people like me who need a little assistance when things are not understood i wouldnt recommend this product to them. Strengths: easy to install
Weakness: terrible support, misunderstood, no explanation on how it actually gets used
I agree with the previous review - I ended up losing a lot of email because the program was not clear on deleting or editing. I couldn't import my email list nor was it easy to add emails. Customer support was SO frustrating, I gave up trying. Using a trial right now but decided it was not the one for me...
