Trendnet TW100-S4W1CA

Strengths: Easy Setup. Fast Router. Fast and Flawless Configuration Access (unlike Linksys which tends to have a serious lag issue).

Weakness: Router is too light to hold itself in place with the network cables attached. Internal system clock looses 30min. per day. Router is unstable after 1 month and requires constant resetting.

I bought 2 of these routers from 2 different places. They both have the SAME EXACT PROLBEMS. Upgradeing the firmware does not help. The dhcp server will not properly hold the client list unless the le

A good product

Strengths: Easy to setup.

Weakness: The case holder does not fit the case well.

This is a good router with cheap price and nice looking. It is very easy to setup, and does the job it claims. It would be better if it has a better case and holder. Recommend for home network.

TRENDnet 4-Port Broadband Router

Strengths: Good for homenetworking system. Customer service rep was very knowledgeable about the product.

Weakness: Did not come with all materials. Called the service number to get help with install.

I would recommend this product. Good for the $$ I would definitely purchase this item again. The router was a little bit cheesy as far as the manufacturing goes but it does do the job.

TRENDnet 4-Port Broadband Router

Strengths: easy to setup and cheap

Weakness: the tag is not firmly sticked to the router.

I got this router in a big box and connected to my computer and I check the ipconfig of my xp box. It shows up 192.168.1.2. So easy. I then try to config the router with 192.168.1.1... and it also works properly. This is really what I want from a router. It would be even better if they have a switch button that I can turn it off when I don't want to use it.

It provides the easiest and securest way to share the high-speed Cable/xDSL Internet connection. It has four 10/100Mbps half/full duplex switch ports that directly connect to workstations or uplink to another hub or switch.

TRENDnet - TW100-S4W1CA

Strengths: Easy setup out of the box, NAT, DCHP and port forwarding.

Weakness: Cheap blue case

This is a easy to setup economical firewall router. Setup in well ventilated area and just forget about it. Blue case may put people off but cost and performance easily offset that concern.
This is a small device for wired connections and will need access point for wireless.
