Excellent Buy!

Strengths: Small, connects quickly, perfect!

Weakness: none

I purchased one of these from Best Buy for my laptop. I LOVE that it's small enough that I don't have to remove it when I pack my laptop in its case. Vista recognized it without have to install any drivers, it connected perfectly with my cell. I loved it so much that I bought a similar one (different brand... Ambeon WBD-300 Micro Bluetooth USB Adapter... it was cheaper, 18.99 s&h ($23.99 total @ www.semsons.com) for my printer. Both work perfectly. I can print from the other room, about 20 ft away. I haven't tried to go any further than that. I highly recommend either!

Perfect Blue tooth add-on

Strengths: So small you almost forget it's there. Signal strength is very good.

Weakness: none except it's very easy to lose.

This Mini blue tooth adapter is great for transfering pictures to and from your portable devices, such as your Cell-phone or laptop. The signal strength is great and the supplied software makes it very easy to setup and install. Works with desktop's or laptops. It does it's job perfectly, buy it!

Small but effective

Strengths: Works with my other BT enabled devices including, cell phones, BT headsets for VoIP calling and other computers with BT to transfer files, images, etc

Weakness: Small, so I am afraid that if I ever take it out and put somewhere, I won't be able to fine it again.

Kensington has good driver support. I set THIS ONE up on my Vista x64 box and it works fine. I had a generic brand that I had purchased from a local retailer and it didn't work on this same machine. I am pleased with this.

Small and compact

Strengths: Good signal Tiny

Weakness: A little pricey compared to other bluetooth dongles

I got tired of losing bluetooth dongles because they were taking up at least 2 USB ports due to their size, so I wouldn't keep them in my desktop PC all the time. I came across this radio and it is exactly what I was looking for. I thought the small size would diminish the range but it seems identical if not better than the generic off-brand ones I've used in the past.

Great Tiny Bluetooth Solution for Laptops

Strengths: Tiny. Well built. Blue light flashes to let you know it is operational. Toshiba Bluetooth Stack.

Weakness: None known.

I purchased three of these units from Circuit City. They are having a sale with an instant $10 off and a $10 mail in rebate giving a final price of $19.99. If your laptop did not have one, and it would be too complicated or expensive to install an OEM one, this is probably the best solution. It uses the Toshiba Bluetooth stack software that is common in most OEM units and therefore, the easiest to become most familiar with. I have installed it on both XP and Vista using the included CD (mini) without any problems. It even picked up my other computers half way on the other side of the house...great range. Given its side, if you are willing to part with one of your USB ports, just leave it in and it is as good as having one built in and really unobtrusive. A good find.
