5.8ghz uniden cordless phoneStrengths: answering machine, backlit phone dislplay Weakness: No speakerphone This phone is very comfortable to have around at home, especially when you usually use your cellphone. I needed something simple with an answering machine and this came out to be what I needed. The price of it is very good considering the features. The caller ID is useful and the phonebook is also very convenient. Excellent PhoneStrengths: Clear sound, Retrieve messages from handset, Caller ID w/ Call Waiting Weakness: No speakerphone We've had this phone for a few days, and we love it. The sound is crystal clear, and the answering machine works great. We also like having the ability to retrieve answering machine messages from the handset. EXAI 5680Strengths: Sleek, does not take up much space, good features for the price Weakness: no speakerphone Well, if only this phone had speakerphone. I have used the set for about 2 months now and it does not have any static, the answering machine works great, it's easy to install and operate. Definitely one I would suggest to look at. Uniden 5.8 w/ Answering Machine - a nice packageStrengths: Looks, Price Weakness: Display I've been using this phone for a few days now, and I must say its a very functional and good-looking set. So far no static within my Townhouse... which is good. Haven't used the answering machine too much, so can't comment on that. It could've used the speakerphone feature. Also the display is not the brightest, and does not stay on when charging to show the battery level. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Good phone for the priceStrengths: Sleek styling, 5.8 GHz feature, great display and answering machine Weakness: Lack of speakerphone, larger size Overall, this phone is a great buy. The only drawback is that there is no speakerphone function. However, the phone looks nice and the other features help to compensate. The call quality was good also. I purchased this phone for its sleek styling and the features for the price. I especially like the message retrieval from the handset and the mute ringer option. This phone did not come equipped with a speakerphone. The handset is lightweight and clear in most of my home but exhibits static near appliances and computers. It is an acceptable phone for my situation, but other phones in my house produce much better reception.
