Strengths: Very easy To overclock
Weaknesses: none
Summary: This is my second mobo and it's a great purchase for gamers and people who want a fresh easy start with overclocking. I just don't Know why they needed a small card to go from one graphics card to SLI Mode

Strengths: Budget Gaming system, good price, Very easy to overclock
Weaknesses: Gigabit does not really work in Vista
Summary: Update your BIOS if you are experiencing any memory timing issue (to 0602). I am using Cosair XMS DDR800, which works great with the board (after BIOS update). I am able to overclock to 3.1 without any major heat problem. This is a good board for people who wants nice features from the board, but not for those hardcore gamers.

If you have gigabits network and vista, here is another thing for you, gigabit driver for nvidia chipsets still didn't work. That means even you are detected at gigabit speed, you are going megabits. You can google this problem pretty easily. But other than this, this board is a great board.

Strengths: Easy Overclock Nice layout Roomy...nothing seems to be in the way even with a Zalman 9700 and a 8800 gts card in the way
Weaknesses: Runs a bit hot Issues with one memory slot (tried two boards...same issue) with crucial ballistix 800 no hs on sb...had to add one to lower temps
Summary: Besides it running slightly on the hotter side (~50ish°C) and not including a hs on the sb...this board is awesome...i have had no major issues that could not be solved...however i noticed on two of these boards that i bought that i was unable to run crucial ballistix 800 on slots 1 (the yellow ones) but works fine on slots 2...asus was unable to help me on it but i figured i wont be adding more memory anytime soon so i should be okay...i would defn recommend this board!

Strengths: Simple installation, position of the IDE connectors (major plus for my BTX style case). Great price for all of the features. Quick connect dongle for case hookup.
Weaknesses: No active cooling on NB. Large NB heatsink can make installing a large CPU heatsink difficult. No cooling on south bridge. Only 2 PCI slots.
Summary: I installed this MB and then did a clean install of XP Pro, installed a few drivers and it was off to the races. I was definitely going to overclock, so I got an Arctic Cool Freezer 7 Pro. I did have to bend the lowest fin on the cooler in order to get past the NB heatsink.

I then went into the Bios and pumped up the FSB to run my e6400 at 3 gig. Works with no problems, no heat or voltage issues. I can't wait to push it further. Good Stuff.

Strengths: 2 IDE, SLi ready, 1394 and e-SATA
Weaknesses: no HS on SB
Summary: This board had lots of features for a low price. I like the 2 IDE to use my old PATA hard disks with. It had 1394 and e-SATA which wasn't available on some higher priced baord.

Strengths: -Good layout. -Able to do Linked/Unlinked mode when overclocking. -Good overclocker. -Supports FSB 1333MHz. -Nice BIOS features and software. -Comes with 2 onboard IDE port and rear SATA port.
Weaknesses: -Mobo chipset only has a heatsink and no fan/heatpipe for additional cooling. -Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro fan will hit the heatsink if blowing air to the back of the case.
Summary: Got this motherboard with Core 2 duo E4300 and was able to reach 1333MHz(333Mhzx9) for FSB and CPU clock of 3GHz easily. I put the RAMs in the black slots since I read the yellow slots might be unstable. Able to overclock the RAM separately without using the same FSB clock which is a nice feature. Also got Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro fans but had to rotate it facing top of the case so it wouldn't hit the heatsink. Another cpu fan might be better for this motherboard. Updating BIOS was easy with ASUS's updater. Highly recommend this motherboard to anyone who is building a mid-range system and wants the ability to overclock.

Strengths: Price-Layout-Performance-Overclocking-Stability-Support
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Built a beast gamer system on $1K budget in one afternoon while client watched using P5N-E SLI, Core2 Duo E6400, 2GB (2x1GB) Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800, eVGA GF 7900 GS KO, XION Supernova XON 600W PSU (Blue LED), and XION case. With no overclocking experience he had the Core2 Duo at +20%. This board makes it easy to be a pro.

Strengths: Great board, very easy to install and setup.
Weaknesses: N/A
Summary: This motherboard has a good amount of features for the price. I would recommend this to anyone. Making connections using their quick connect system makes life much easier when building your system.

Strengths: The board is a great bang for the buck. I did not have any problems while installing and getting it to run at all. Great board if you want the SLI technology. Easy to configure BIOS.
Weaknesses: haven't tried installing vista on it so i can't say there are any problems with that.
Summary: I would definitely consider getting this board again because it is the best bang for the buck. The price is unbeatable. Overclocking on this board is very easy. I am running E6600 on this and overclocked it to 3.2Ghz without any problems. If you are in the market for a great board without paying a whole lot for performance and overall good board, this one is definitely it. PS - the BIOS flashing utility is awesome and so easy.

Strengths: Great features for an affordable price. So far performance has been excellent. Lots of resources and OC options. STABILITY is awesome.
Weaknesses: Doesnt have 8 channel sound but is not a big deal.
Summary: 2007-04-03 03:08:10 Would get this board again without question.

If you want SLI on the cheap with good features go with this board.

I am trying to get this work with microsoft vista ultimate edition x64 and 4 gb of memory but from 3 gb and up the system is getting down. I will edit this as soon i finf this problem.

2 Star ReviewNot a stable board
Strengths: not much
Weaknesses: RAM issues and heat
Summary: First off with this board there are huge problems figuring out which RAM slots will read correctly. It seems to be different for everyone so you have to try several times to get it right. Until you get it right it wont boot. Once you get it right it still gets a bit touchy from time to time with the RAM. The worst problem this board has though is its heat issue. It has only passive cooling on the NB and no cooling on the SB. Even without overclocking it gets way too hot. I finally had to RMA mine.

2 Star ReviewWebsite Slow
Strengths: No install problems.
Weaknesses: Support. Unexplained e-sata problems
Summary: Have problems attaching e-sata drive. Hangs system. Must reboot with drive attached. Also get garbled desktop when backing up to e-sata drive. Could be Vista problems.

Their website seems to be running on a Commodore 64 and manned by 1 person. Good luck downloading drivers!

Strengths: Easy to setup. Easy to change from single to dual graphic cards. Helpful small components.
Weaknesses: At first, it made lots of noise but slowly disappear, which is not bad at all.
Summary: It is very very easy to setup everything. They small connectors to help you plug the cables in hard-to-reach area.

And it is so easy to change from single graphic card to SLI mode. It works!!!
