Plantronics CT10 cordless headset telephone and...Strengths: a dream to dail, redial etc.; headset good; handset as light as they come Weakness: easy to drop Because I do not wear belts, I do not use the belt clip. For short conversations, carrying around the almost weightless handset poses no problem; I love it. However, when doing other things while talking on the phone (shuffling through papers, for example), I tend to forget I'm holding the handset, which falls. The battery disconnects. Moving quickly, I can slip the battery back into place in time to salvage the conversation. Otherwise, the line goes dead; the call disconnected. Not the phone's fault, of course; but a nuisance for the absent-handed among us. CT10 Plantronics cordless headset telephone and...Strengths: Allows great flexibility, comfortable to wear. Clear sound with no background noise. Weakness: wish it had 3-way capability I do hundreds of calls a day. This phone is the best I have used. I have worked in major call centers and this is better than industrial sets. Highly RecommendedStrengths: The sound is clear and good volume. Weakness: -clip on isn't always the best, but usually good I found this set greatly increased my mobility and productivity around home. I can't stand the regular cordless phone anymore. Good Cordless Headset Phone
Strengths: excellent clarity, comfortable lightweight headset, easy-to-press buttons
Weakness: no on-screen display on the remote for caller ID, phonebook, etc. when compared to the newer Plantronics CT12
Plantronics knows phones. The CT10 is a superb 900 MHz cordless headset phone that is comfortable and easy to use and offers excellent vocal quality. As a user with a severe physical disability, I purchased the CT10 over the CT12 because the soft buttons are much easier to press than those on the CT12. Most users probably wouldn't care about this feature, but it is significant to those with mobility problems.
