I'm not really sure what a good microsd card is but i use this one in my cell phone and have had no problems whatsoever and I would consider that a good thing.

SanDisk 1GB microSD Card

Strengths: It is 1 gb!! The price was very,very good.It was new, and included the adapter.

Weakness: There was no directions

This is exactly what I ordered. The price was so good that I wasn't bothered that much that there was no directions. It would have been nice though. I had trouble inserting it in my phone but....I googled it and got the information I needed. As far as I can tell it's working fine. Very pleased!

Strengths: it works like how it should so far.

Weakness: None.

This product works just fine but it seems like it is a sort of cheap from china or something. Also it seems like it's less space. I know that there is always a little less than 1gb or whatever it's supposed to be, but this one seems especially smaller.

SanDisk 1.0 GB microSD/TransFlash

Strengths: 1gb of cell phone memory, easy to use, just a little tuff to install if your hands are big.

Weakness: none that I've seen other than it's the max my cell phone can use.

if your hands are to big you need something small to get the chip locked up behind the edge clip as this is a small chip and you can update it with any sandisk reader/writer with it's included adaptor.

San Disk 1GB microSD Card

Strengths: A lot of memory in a very small package.

Weakness: I may eventually have problems locating the adapter that's needed to read it in my card reader because I'm disorganized.

The MicroSD memory card is being used in my LG cell phone to store pictures, movies, and music. I do not expect to ever have a problem with space on this card due to its capacity. But if I ever do, I'd simply go with a San Disk 2GB MicroSD card because I have only experieneced the best from San Disk.

Strengths: Works well with my LG Verizon phone

It came in a Retail box with a micro/SD adapter. The box indicated it was made in Taiwan. It noted it has a 5 year warranty. I've pulled the card in and out of the phone for at least 20 times. No issues so far.

I went on many sites, even Sandisk ,and no one else had this card for anywhere near this price.The card slid right in my LG CU500 cell phone.If you want alot of space for mp3's and pictures ....go get one I got 3, one for each phone and saved $130.00!!!!!!!!!!!!

SanDisk 1GB MicroSD Card

Strengths: Extremely small size, large amount of memory, SD card adaptor included

This card was also bought for use with my Garmin Streetpilot i3. The Garmin maps for the entire of North America and Canada can be stored on 1GB. It initially came with a 128MB microSD card, but it was not sufficient to store more than 2-3 states' worth of maps on it.

Because of its tiny size, it is sometimes hard to manipulate and insert/remove. But I'm not complaining. The contacts also need to be kept clean since you tend to touch them, otherwise it cannot be read.

The SD card adapter is extremely useful if you have other devices that have an SD card slot. It was used in a camera, and then later with the photos transferred to the PC using one of those 7-in-1 card reader devices.

I don't perceive the data transfers as being slower so far. (No actual tests were done) As far as for general purpose use, I'm happy with this purchase. :)

Powerfull Tiny Card

Strengths: Smaller in Size, Great Performance

I am looking for the MicroSD card for my Samsung T809 Cellphone, After doing some research and based on review I purchased this card and the card performed as promised. The after rebate price which I paid is good for this 1GB SanDisk microSD card. The read and write speed for this card is good but if we compare this with Ultra then it can't compete. Now Phone Book, Photos etc are not an problem as I have enough memory to use. I recommand this to all buyers who are looking for Micro SD card at nice price. SanDisk quality as compare to other card is great.

Strengths: Ultra-compact data storage.

Weakness: Long, slow write times.

I use mine to hold map data for my Garmin eTrex Vista Cx GPS receiver. I can almost get the entire MapSource MetroGuide North America data set in at one time. One can swap the micro SD card for another easily. I have a part of MetroGuide Europe on another, and some wilderness topographical U.S. maps on still another. It is convenient and lets me have detailed city map and direction capability wherever I travel. This is the best tool for wilderness navigation, and I can update it whenever new map sets come out.
With all the counterfeit SanDisk flash storage on the market, it makes sense to buy from a dealer SanDisk lists as reputable.

SanDisk 1GB microSD Card

Strengths: Really small, but very big in capacity. Read and Write just as fast as a regular SDcard.

Weakness: None, works perfect on a Samsung SGH D900 mobile phone.

If your looking for a memory card for a samsung mobile device, I truelly recommend this brand for use. I heard that kingston that makes the same type of card has problems working with samsung. Go with original and you wont be disappointed. Comes with everything you need to connect the little card to a regular SD card reader. Hope this comment helps.

cheap, reliable storage card for a device

Strengths: good price point, comes with SD adapter to use in an SD card reader. Memory seems to read quickly in my GPS

Weakness: none specific to this model or brand.

I use this in a Garmin 60 CSx GPS receiver for additional map storage. The GPS reads the maps from the card without delay, so the speed of the card is a good match for that device.

DO NOT MISTAKE IT FOR REAL M2

I have taken this SD card in addition for my samsung T809 cellphone .But It works as well with my canon A520 camera also.It's size is really very small and 1GB capacity is enough for me to store songs or photos.For the price I paid it's really worth.Highly recommended.

Great card

Strengths: Large capacity with tiny size.

Weakness: None.

If you've been considering a memory upgrade for your SLVR this is the perfect card. With the 1GB card I have used the 100 song limit and STILL have plenty of space for movies I've converted from DVD to the 3gp format. Depending on the length of the movie I can fit 4 and sometimes more FULL LENGTH movies onto my phone. So if you've been considering it, at this great price for double the factory memory, you can't go wrong.

This card works just as you would hope it would. Just make sure you have the means to connect it to your computer, which costs extra. But aside from that it's a great card and does exactly what you want.

This is a good size microsd card from Sandisk that works as advertised and enables me to carry lots of music, videos and pics on my samsung a950 phone. remember this is microsd which is diff from minisd. should work fine is most phones that accept microsd cards. excellent buy.

Strengths: Very small with a lot of memory and an SD adapter.

Weakness: Very small.

I use this card with my Motorola e815. It works great. I am able to transfer pictures, videos, songs, ringtones with no problem. The SD adapter that comes with it is very handy for computer manipulation. Be careful not to lose it though as it is very small.

A Tiny Wonder

Strengths: Incredibly tiny, so it doesn't require much real estate on my cell phone. Large capacity for the size and reasonable price.

Weakness: Well, being incredibly small also concerns me with its fragility. Kinda slow transfer rates.

I don't think repeatedly taking this card in and out of my cell is a good idea. It's a very thin card too. I will probably have to buy a USB cable for my phone to transfer songs to the card.

BIG and small at the same time

Strengths: - small (fingernail size); quality (not problems so far); durable, particularily given its size

Weakness: size - easy to loose; few other companies making microSD format cards; price - expensive compared to other memory card formats;

Purchased to use in my cell phone. Had no problems using in my digital camera with the adapter. Very convenient in case of emergency (little bit of a pain to carry adapter). Just don't loose the adapter (you'll have to buy a new one before you can use the card in a reader or camera).

A Good Value for such a small card

Strengths: Tiny, price

Weakness: no bigger size

- The card is extremely small,GOOD (and extremely easy to be lost, BAD)
- Not ridiculously expensive like XD cards
- Compatible with SD card using the free adapter
- Only 1GB maximum currently. I hope there will be 2GB and 4GB soon.
- I used it in my Garmin I3. Entire North America from City Navigator only used around 850MB. I still have more than 100MB to spare.
- Overall, great product, great value

Works great in my Garmin i2 GPS

Strengths: Can load all of Canada and North America maps into my GPS with room to spare.

Weakness: SD card adapter does not work in the card reader in my laptop.

I put this card in my Garmin i2 GPS and it worked great! I was able to load all of Garmin CitySelect North America maps onto it, and still had over 100MB to spare.

The SD card adapter does not seem to agree with the SD card reader in my laptop, however - it sees the card but cannot read it. This isn't an issue since I bought it specifically for the GPS.

With it, I can upload the entire maps of USA and it still has a lot of space for My Favorite Places and Points of Interest (POIs). It also comes with a SD Adapter, so you can use it with other electronics that use regular SD card.

Perfect for mobile phones

Strengths: Lots of memory. Regular SD adapter

I bought this card in order to use it with my Samsung A920 multimedia phone. It's excellent: lots of memory in such small space. I was able to fit almost 300 songs in aacPlus format. Also, since it includes the regular SD adapter, it's easy to transfer files from your laptop/desktop, provided you have an SD reader.

My only concern is it's size. It's smaller than a fingernail . While I understand the need for this because of mobile phones, it's a little hard to handle if you have bigger fingers, and even harder to pull it out of the adapter. But on the other hard, it seems sturdy enough.

Overall, I am recommending this to anyone who has a mobile device with a microSD slot.

Good Stuff

Strengths: Extremely tiny. A lot of new phones requires micro SD. Pretty reasonable price from outpost.com and amazon.com with rebates. Sandisk is always reliable.

Weakness: Tiny to the point where it is easy to lose.

This card works perfectly with my Samsung T809 phone. I only been using it for a few days but I'm sure it'll hold up. I never had any problem with Sandisk before.

Great for Mobile Phone

Strengths: If you've got a device that uses it, it's a lot of memory in a teeny little card. The adapter makes it usable in other devices such as digital cameras and card readers.

Weakness: A little expensive memory if you don't actually have a device that uses the micro format.

I have a tmobile mp3 player phone. I could only put 5 songs on the included card, now I can put 150! This card is great for all us audiophiles.

Perfect for its uses

I got this card to use with my Garmin Streetpilot i3 to increase its memory from 128MB to 1GB. That allows me to place almost the entire North American Map Source on the card, as well as numerous favorites and waypoints. So it works extremely well for that; seems to be no difference in speed or reliability when compared to the included card.

It comes with an SD adapter, which I haven't yet had to use, but would probably be helpful if I ever had to use a card reader to transfer data. (My card reader dosn't have a slot for micro SD.)

My one caveat is that it's still a bit price-y ($50 for 1 GB), and I imagine that will continue to decrease. But it's a lot easier to have everything on one card than to transfer back and forth between multiple 256 or 512 MB cards while driving.

Amazing Product for Your Mobile Phone

Weakness: Small size means it is easy to lose Flimsy construction means it is not intended for daily removal from device

Overall, I would highly recommend this storage device for people that have a mobile phone or other device using MicroSD (AKA TransFlash). The price is very reasonable considering its size. I have one of these in my cell phone and keep a massive number of pictures and files in there. My first observation about the device when I got it was that it requires delicate handling. The card is very delicate due to its size. Do not make a habit of inserting and removing it numerous times...just put it in the device and transfer your files via cable or bluetooth. Constant handling of the card will lead to its eventual demise. Treat it with care and it should last a very long time! I'm buying another today for my wife's cell phone!

Strengths: Small, small, small with SanDisk reliability

Weakness: Small, too small, you might lose it very easily if your place is messy

Not much. For $30 the price is right. I had no choice but to buy it for my Samsung T809 only to find out that the phone's battery is so crappy that I can't listen to music on it for too long. Lucky this card can double as a backup for my Canon SD450. No complaints so far.

Great Momory Card

This is a nice memory card, impressive small and . I used it for my GPS device (
Garmin StreetPilot i3) and the size is good to handle all map / road information over North America (including Hawaii). The speed of this card is pretty good while I transfer the abot 950 mb map data on it.

Crazy tiny, a bit slow, but still hella sweet!

Strengths: Super tiny, 1GB...

Weakness: Slow

For $30 you can't get any better deal on these. Since they are new technology they'll be costly for now. 2GB 133x SD cards can be had for $40 but if you want the small size (or the latest phones, etc), you've got to go with a MicroSD. Hopefully bigger faster ones will be coming...
